The Pine & Gable approach

A trusted neighbor who happens to be the best roofer in town.

We started Pine & Gable because southern Maine deserves a roofing company that doesn't feel like a sales pitch. Here's how we do it differently.
01

Quotes, not estimates.

An estimate is a guess. A quote is a commitment. We inspect carefully, specify exactly, and put the price in writing.

02

Best materials only.

We don't substitute down a grade to save margin. What's in your quote — manufacturer, model, color — is what goes on your roof.

03

Drone inspections built in.

Steep, coastal, or just inaccessible? We fly it. You see what we see. No guessing, no boots-on-roof if it's not safe.

04

Installed in as little as one day.

Most standard residential roofs are torn off and re-installed in a single day. Larger or steeper jobs may take two.

05

Low-pressure consultation.

We give you the information, the quote, and the time to think. We don't do same-day discounts or hard-close tactics.

06

Two owner-operators.

Jeff Ogalin and Aaron St. John — both Maine, both hands-on, both invested in every roof that carries our name.

The owners

Jeff Ogalin & Aaron St. John

Jeff is based in West Gardiner and covers the Augusta-to-Brunswick corridor. Aaron is based in Kennebunk and covers the southern coast from Saco through York. Between us we cover every Tier 1 town in southern Maine — and our crews follow the same install spec whether you're in Cape Elizabeth or Cumberland.

We answer our own phones. We write our own quotes. And we'll be on site for every project.
